Please join NEAPG as Sally Hamblen, CG® presents her BCG Case Study entitled "Two William Farnham's: A Case Study from Conception to Publication."
There were two William O. Farnham's, one lived and died in Digby, Nova Scotia, the other was born in Woolwich, Maine, but disappeared from the records after 1814. It seems obvious that these two men were the same, but to meet the GPS, the evidence still has to be written into a conclusion. The sources include a military pension application, a family bible in the author's possession, digitized archival material, as well as vital records and censuses. The author will discuss how the case study from her portfolio was re-written multiple times, to be published in 2026.
