Event Description
The Forensic SIG meets with Amanda Gonzalez, CG® as she discusses military repatriation, her role as an SNA International genealogist, and her involvement in identifying First Lieutenant Myles W. Esmay, missing from World War II.
Amanda Gonzalez is a board-certified genealogist who has spent 12 years as an active duty military wife. With 30-plus years of research experience, she has completed numerous family history projects, authored two historical transcription books, worked as a Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy practitioner, and conducted genealogical research on hundreds of military repatriation cases for the US Army. While specializing in Delaware, her research had extended nationally across the United States as well as internationally.
